Preferences->Color->Define color by file types. Click Add, Define.

In search for type *.*, click Advanced and click to check Attributes and click to check Directories.
Click Save and enter name of template. Choose color
It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

Hum... in same way, wanted to have colored files, month by month...
I've succesfully perfomed this by given a range date, but it's pretty long to do for monthes

eg. I've created a filter search for range 01/01/2000 to 01/01/2001 ... Okay, working well...

But, if I want to perform it month by month, whatever is the year... there is no pattern for the year side in the search popup window... => I'll need to perform as many range as year * 12 monthes ... ouch !

Any idea ?

Download the DateNames plugin.
You can now use the Plugins tab and set your month accordingly.
