network disk-delete directory-missing Background possibility

Post by *trevor12 »

good afternoon, maybe I missed or don´t realize something, but when I delete directory on network disk, in window only Pause Cancel but not Background function (I use shift +del). Some solution ?

and last days problem with Log In to forum occurs (I use chrome v34), I add correct data, check log me automaticall and OK, everything seems OK but after that I am not logged

Edit - I recognize that only in preparing period missing background feature (that directory is big with 200k files so preparing lasts minutes) but after that in own deleting Background function is possible ...

What network disk? FTP? Shared folders? Mapped network drive? Plugin?

There are two phases when deleting files:
Phase 1: TC counts the files and folders which are going to be deleted, so it can show a progress bar.
Phase 2: TC actually deletes the files/folders.

You cannot move the operation to the background during phase 1, only during phase 2. The dialog box will show you what it is currently doing.

Is it possible to skip Phase 1. Ans as consequence not having the progress bar? When there are a lot of files, it takes ages to delete.

When entering Phase 2, it is still not possible to move the delete to the background

You can add
CountMarked=0
to your wincmd.ini under [Configuration].
