Open files in zip-files iwthout prompts

Post by *yabbah »

As topic say, I wonder if there is a way to open files inside a zip-archive without has the prompt ask if I wanna unpack / unpack all and so on?

On regular basis I daily went into archives and only interested in a textfile inside, and that prompt annoying me :P

There is no such dialog by default !
TC opens archives like directories and displays the files.
Then you can view a file without any further prompt.

Check the packer configuration and set the option
Treat archives like directories

Horst.Epp,
I think he means editing by F4 or opening by Enter.

Viewing by F3 of course has no dialogs.

Add line

under
[Packer]
section of your WINCMD.INI file (or change 0 to 1 at the end if exist).
