VisualDirSize 1.2 or Total Commander causing problem

I am using VisualDirSize 1.2 and it worked (slow at times) pre TC 8.5x. Currently using this plugin on the same computer running Win7 64bit and TC v8.51a, had no problems prior TC recent updates, except being slow when used on folders with a high total size. But now it works only on folders that are very small in size.

I know when using this plug-in will Freeze TC, so most will say it is the plugin that triggers the freeze. But my way of thinking is, if the plugin worked okay prior to the 8.5x updates then one has to wonder which is the culprit.

It could be that you have infinite loops (using file system links/reparse points) in these subfolders.

You should try VisualDirSize 1.3 beta 6 (1.3.0.160) - it used to be available by the author on: http://members.multimania.co.uk/kajoj100/ - but not anymore. If you are interested I can provide it for you.

It seems to run fine on my Windows 7 x64 PC.

How or what sets up infinite loops, can I change this and where?

I also got this error pop up message, didn't get all the details but read somthing like this. Destroy Windows Error: Access violation at 052B3376 in Module visualdirsize.wlx
