Hi Guys,
I tried searching the forum but couldn't really find anything. I tried using TotalCommander to copy files for dfsr pre-seeding purposes but it doesn't retain the exact hash information on the files. So I had to use robocopy to do this. Is there a way for TotalCommander to retain the exact hash information on files? This allows me to enable dfsr to sync up the files and if the hash is different it thinks all the files are not the same. See additional info below.
Thanks

What do you mean with "it doesn't retain the exact hash information on the files"? Doesn't the hash depend only on the file contents?
Maybe you copied the files in text mode via FTP, then the files can be different if they contain line breaks.
