Problem with copy correct data from bad hdd
I have TotalCmd 5.51 One of my HDD's have bad sect. (10% surface). I'm trying to copy all correct data from bad hdd ... but it's hard, because I allways get the stop error : Error: Cannot read file .... and I must press manualny "leave file". What to do I don't have every time press button? Is it possible to confgure TCMD not display error messages?
You could try the BadCopy FS-plugin.
There are a couple of free data recovery applications out there that might work better like Unstoppable Copier.
Some even claim to "repair" the disk like HDD Regenarator. I've never had to deal with a physically damaged disk* so I can't give you any real recommendation.
*besides throwing a RAID drive into the trash
