Z505_Software,
It's already possible. You can add any plugin DLL to TC's Start menu or Button Bar, just make sure it is not a plugin but a program and ends in .exe instead of .dll. ;)

BTW:
- Create new file -> Shift-F4
- Copy selected file names to clipboard -> Mark - Copy Selected Names To Clipboard
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I think this suggestion is a perfect example of existing functions are not found - even by intermediate or advanced users.

So as discussed in the main thread - please make the existing functions more obvious and easier to use. Main menu editing using custom commands is really a lot of work, error-prone and difficult.

Lefteous,
A good mockup goes a long way. ;)

I will definitely produce some mockups were it makes sense. I can't make mockups for everything though. In this case the Ultra Editors set the standard. There is always room for improvement but it would be a good starting point to have something similar integrated in TC.

The main problem when it comes to editing the main menu is that you can't insert custom commands on the fly. Eventually I will actually have to create a mockup to illustrate what I mean :roll:
