Copy one file to many subfolders

Post by *krojc »

I constantly create "empty" file structure. This means all files present, but their content is 0.

1. Can I copy one file to many subfolders? In this case I get files that I can easily rename using MRT with [P].

Thanks,
M!

Yes. Create the directories, open their parent on one side (left or right) and mark the directories you want the file(s) to be copied into. Now, tab to the opposite side, mark the files you want to copy, press F5 and, in the copy dialog, check "Copy to all selected folders/links in the target panel" option.

Hi,

You can try my program: CopyToTabs. I have just uploaded a new version, and you can look at:

Code: Select all

http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=295885#295885
The program manages (eventually through TC's buttons) "copy projects" meaning it copies any number of files from any number of folders, to any number of destinations.

It is 100% bilingual, French and English, and totally FREE.
