TC8.52 - Drag&Drop URL from browser to TC not possible

Post by *ebayda »

1. Open any page in the browser (Chrome 47)
2. Run TC 8.52 as administrator.
3. Click on the web-site icon in location bar, drag and drop it into TC window.

Result:
URL file is not created (changed since TC 8.51a)
You see 'Unavailable' mouse cursor.

Expected result:
URL file will be created.

Workaround:
Run TC 8.52 in non-elevated mode.

You can reproduce this with ANY program that runs under a different user/rights context, it's not related in any way to TC, let alone a TC bug. This is a Windows security thing. This topic has been discussed many times in the forum.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
