[Solved] Pack and Unpack zip in background for multiple zip?

Post by *hahaha »

For pack to a single zip, or unpack from a single zip, manipulating 'AlwaysPackInBackground' and 'AlwaysUnpackInBackground' option in wincmd.ini, will be working!

But, am I operating wrong? For pack to *multiple* zip, or unpack from *multiple* zip, options above seems not working? Still run in foreground, like gifs below show. How to make them background when multiple zip scene? Thanks!

(sorry, have no permission to post image...)

Indeed unpacking multiple archives cannot currently be done in the background, because TC cannot know at the start of the operation whether all of the files can actually be unpacked in the background: They may be renamed archives of other types. For example, not all packer plugins support unpacking in the background.

You can queue multiple unpack jobs with WinRar. See here.
