F8/Delete: How to reconfigure the hotkey F8?

Post by *Gameboi »

First of all, a belated happy new year to everybody.

Currently F8 means "Delete". I'd like it to reconfigure so it becomes "Unpack All". Is that possible?

Cheers!

Yes, you can configure it in Configuration -> Misc. -> Hotkeys

Hello, Gameboi.

Not everything that is feasible makes sense.
"<F8> Delete" is also displayed on the function key bar at the bottom of T.C., unless you have hidden the function key bar.
The function "Unpack" is already available through the keyboard shortcut <Alt><F9>.
So the idea to remap <F8> from Delete to Unpack seems to be a good way of causing confusion only.

Just my 2 cents.

Meh, I don't use lower bar anyway. I just hid it.
