Freezing/Unresponsivness after clicking on \\Network >

Post by *Spiderkeys »

Wondering if this is normal, It's probably my crappy network, but when I click there, Total Commander becomes unusable where the mouse changing to hourglass or busy and becomes unresponsive, I can either wait up too 1-15 minutes or indefinately or is there a way to get out of it, if i cannot be bothered waiting anymore, other than start Task Manager > End Process > TOTALCMD64.EXE ?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Try disabling EXE/LNK icons on network drives:
Configuration - Options - Icons.

If you use plugins for custom colors, you may need to disable them too.

That's an idea, I try this and see how it goes, but it's normally freezes up when I want to see an updated list of computers on my network, not so much their shared folders.
