Error: Cannot read \\Desktop\file.php
Hello,
From today I've got a strange problem.
When I'm trying to copy a file to my FTP I receive error message: Error: Cannot read \\location\file.php.
I'll do this without any problems before.
Restarted TC / PC nothing helps.
Thank you for your help in advance.

What is this \\location? Sounds like a virtual folder. TC cannot upload from virtual folders to ftp because you can't read directly from objects in virtual folders.

Try to enable: "Use passive mode for transfers (like A WWW browser)", in the setup for the connection.

Ok,
I think this is a kind of bug because I got this error again and I had to back to Filezilla again to transfer files to FTP.

So it's a standard location. Not virtual.
It's happened when I download small .php file from server, edited it, upload back and receive this error.
Try to upload from your personal desktop cd %$DESKTOP% (or cd C:\Users\<YourLoginName>\Desktop).MSDN:CSIDL_DESKTOP wrote:The virtual folder that represents the Windows desktop, the root of the namespace.
