FTP client losts the file time (TC 8.52a 32bit) (Closed)

Post by *Serj14 »

Update: It is not a bug. It is a server`s feature.
Ftp client losts the file time after MDTM 20100415125312 sftpwftp.jpg command

How to:
1: connect to my test ftp
host=ftps://taxicontact.info
username=Ghisler
password=Fa56=12K
SpecialFlags=4096

Go to uploadhere

2: create the file Test2.txt
3: call MDTM 20100415125312 Test2.txt in the command line
4: Refresh panel
5: See file time 00:00
Expected 12:53 Or 14:53 (Depends on client`s time zone settings as I understand)

If I connect over Secure FTP I see the correct time.
See sftpwftp.jpg file on the server

TC 8.52a 32bit

What do you see in the list for this file when you press Alt+Enter during the connection?

As you can see, the server uses the condensed date/time field used in the Unix "ls" command. This field shows EITHER the time, or the year (when the file is older), but not both at the same time.

If the line is:
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 0 Jan 29 10:30 doLocalConf.xml
then it would be a file from Jan 29, 2016.

You can try to manually activate MLSD format (machine list directory) in the FTP connection settings, which has full date+time format, but the server probably doesn't support that.

Server doesn't support MLSD.
I see it is not a bug of the ftp client now.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
