TotalCMD64 hangs up when opening a certain directory

Post by *cdkeyleo »

Everytime I open the directory in TotalCMD64, it hangs up for 3 seconds and shows a error prompt windows of "Connect \\xxxxx".

I also did ProcessMonitor, capture all file/register activities of totalcmd64 during hangs up.

If those ProcessMonitor filse are need to troubleshoot, please provide me a ftp.

It helps, if you tell us some more details:
Which version of Windows are you using?
Which version of TC are you using?

Is there any special at this certain directory?
- a lot of files?
- a unusual name?

Thank you very much for reply.

I followed your instruction to check the environment, and then found a invalid target path has been set for that directory in Directory Hotlist (ctrl+d), and it caused TotalCMD hangs up every time I access the directory from Directory Hotlist.

TotalCMD doesn't hangs up anymore after I remove the invalid target path.

Please close the post.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
