Can't copy to external hard drives

I'm writing here because bugs in thread 8.0 may be old-fashioned.
In Win10 x64, TC 8.52a x64, motherboard Asus Z170-A
I have a problem with a couple of 4TB external hard drives (on 3.0 USB ports). The issue is not present on the 2.0 USB port.
When I copy files - if I use TC's standard copy method - those HDDs appear as "read-only" and the process must be stopped.
I know it can be a hardware-related problem, but if I use Explorer or the "copy+paste via Explorer" option in TC everything works fine.

Use compatibility mode for this drives:

Just enter the related drive letters at "Configuration - Options - Operation - Copy/Delete - Use compatibility mode ..." if you don't use standard mode.

My fault. Apparently, it was all due to insufficient privileges.
I set the program to run with Administrator rights and everything seems to work as it should.
