I just installed Total Commander (version 8.52a) on a brand new computer, and in detail view file sizes and date stamps appear is vertical lines of a couple of different widths instead of in readable text. I can send a screen shot if needed.
I've confirmed that all the options are set just as they were in my old computer and haven't been able to fix this. Both old and new computers are running Windows 10.
How can I figure out what the problem is?
Layout broken: vertical lines are in different widths

This can happen when the font "Segoe UI demibold" is defective. Try using a different font via menu Configuration - options - Fonts for file lists.

Fixed!
Thanks for that. I had already changed the font to MS Sans Serif Bold before asking the question and still saw those characters. BUT ... the compute5r's been rebooted once or twice since then and that seems to have fixed whatever went wrong. Everything's looking great again.
Thanks for the quick response!!
