FTP: autom. assign attributes to copied files?

Post by *wlashack »

Hello,
I use TC to copy images from my Desktop to a folder on my FTP. The folder has attribudes set to value 755. But everytime I copy an aimage here from my local computer (folder Desktop), its attributes are set to 640. Then I need to change it manually to 755.

My question is: is there any way to force TC to automatically assign the same attributes to the copied files as the folder they are being copied into?

Thanks.

I don't know any way to let TC change the file's attributes after transfer via FTP automatically (it's possible in SFTP plugin, but SFTP has nothing to do with FTP). You might be able to change/tweak some setting on the FTP server to achieve what you want.
