TC9 beta: Default icons on vertical toolbar

Post by *pdavit »

Some suggestions...

- Remove: View, Edit, MakeDir. Reason: it is more fitting for the vertical bar to contain actions that involve interactions in between the filelists

- Add: Unpack along with pack

- Add: target=source, swap panels as a pair

- Add a group (separator) with: file comparison, compare dirs, sync dirs, synchronous dir change

Simple and elegant! :P

I'm open to suggestions here - what do other users think?

Vertical bar is the best new feature since I use Total Commander, v5.5 I think. It is really great.
Copy, move icons should have some kind of arrows incorporated to show the flow of files.... just a thought though.

And how will static icon show direction if it may be -> or <- depending on active panel? :)

Christian is not limited to this.
I don't know if it is needed.

Just by have 2 icons for such functions which are automatically selected..
Its available for example in Free Commander and nice for a vertical bar.
