TC9 beta: Marking files; missing the red color

Post by *poggio »

Hi,
I have upgrade to version 9.0. With previous versions I was able to select and mark in red (or any color) the selected files to copy, move etc. I cannot find the way to do the same in nee version 9.0.

Thanks :(

Well sorry to say but nothing has changed concerning the red text color selection in TC 9. The cursor in TC <v9 was by default a dotted black line.

That may be true for your settings but not for all users.
Depending of the settings you get of course other results
with or without "Use Windows theme for cursor".

Well first of all when not mentioned I suppose default settings are used. But let's go through the possible settings that we had before TC 9.

Invert cursor: Selection is still red font color
Invert selection: Selection is now white text and red background

My point is that the new cursor settings is not related to the selection setting. No offense but what is your point?

Off for "Use Windows theme for cursor" helped him and me for getting my old TC 8.52a cursor back. Thats all.

The new feature "Use Windows theme for cursor" is set by default after installing TC9b1 - so that is why it was absolutely proper for Horst.Epp to assume that this was the reason for poggio's problem.
