[TC 9ß3 64] Marking files for drag and drop

Post by *docc »

Hi,
The behavior of the program for drag and drop has changed (bug or feeature???)

In TC 8.5 you need only to point of the file (complete line) for drag and drop, press the left button +ctrl of the mouse keep the button pressed and drag the file to the new place.

In 9ß3 you have to mark exactly the filename to do so, if you mark only the line it doesn't work.

Is it a bug (hopefully) or a feature??

New feature - rubber band selection
You can turn it off: Configuration->Option->Operation

It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

I´ve noticed the same behavior.
If you try it a second time, the file can be copied. I think it has something to do with the new feature "Gummiband-Markierung" for the mouse operation.

As in Explorer, you can now start rectangular selection from empty space right to file names... And, as Ovg mentioned, you can disable it.

I don't see any differences with right mouse selection mode. :D

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
