Manually Renaming Files: do not select the extension

Hello!

If I try to rename a single File (not Multi-Rename-Tool) it always selects the full filename.
I suggest to alter this (similar to Windows 10 Explorer mode), so that selection does not contain the suffix of the file. This would be a great enhancement.
