F3 works fine now for most formats except mkv. If I press F3 on an mkv file I get the standard TC viewer in IE mode and a download file dialog (for a local file).
I've newer had this problem, on the other hand what ie plugin are you using, ieview has been abandoned you should try HTMLView http://sites.google.com/site/htmlview/
I'm not sure why htmlview is not on totalcmd.net
I have issues with archview loading on mkv files.
iana, I don't know how I missed your reply for so long, sorry. Anyway, the issue with mkv files went away by itself.
I use multilister 1.50a, it has its own ie support built in, although I find it lacking css stylesheet support, but I didn't spend any time investigating why. I might try htmlview, but if there was a firefox or webkit engine plugin I'd switch to it in an instant!

I installed the file you posted as well as the one from Chio Lui, and I'm not seeing the mediainfo menu item anywhere. How exactly do you use this plugin to make it work?

Can you please add Encoded Date and Recorded Date fields? They're useful to redate files if the import utility didn't do that.

Is wdx_mediainfo.rar (x86/x86-64) the most topical version?

just update MediaInfo dll's from
https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download/Windows
currently at version 0.7.99
grab the 7z archives DLL (Without Installer) and put them in the plugin folder replacing the old DLL's
you will need to rename the 64bit dll to MediaInfo64.dll

Hello, I have one file and it's info is below, i want to show the format of the red underline.
https://i.imgur.com/Os5Fbcm.png

Now the audio format and video format show the format info,
so for the example i can't see the audio format
https://i.imgur.com/lOM93MW.png
https://i.imgur.com/cFq8Qn9.png

Now audio codec and video codec show the Codec ID
so for the example 2 below
https://i.imgur.com/ft1AdU2.png
If i use audio format i will see Advanced Audio Codec Low Complexity
And if i use audio codec i can only see 10-2
But i want to see the AAC LC

Is is possible to add field for just Video and Audio Format Name?
Thanks for your watching :)

BTW.MediaInfo.dll has updated to 20.03

Well, for the "Video Codec" entry I use

Code: Select all

[=mediainfowdx.InternetMediaType_Video:7-][=" ("mediainfowdx.InternetMediaType_General:7-")"]
I get at least "H265" which is HEVC

Played a little bit with the available entries and found:

Code: Select all

[=mediainfowdx.InternetMediaType_Video:7-][=" ("mediainfowdx.Format_Video")"]
resulting in "H265 (HEVC)"

According audio entries:

Code: Select all

[=mediainfowdx.Audio_Format_List_General][=" ("mediainfowdx.Format_Audio")"]
resulting in "AAC LC (AAC)"

Hello.
I've noticed that this plugin doesn't give any values for .webm videos. The program Mediainfo supports this format.
I've installed the latest version of the plugin with dll. I have not any issues with all other video files, at least with most popular ones.

There is no setiing file in the plugin dir. Are there some setting somewhere else that should be configured?
I've added .webm in 'Additional multimedia filetypes' if that matters.
