Reproduce steps:
1. Enabled everything feature by default.
2. unzip 10000+ files into file system.
3. Search files by Alt + F7 immediately.
4. Search window stuck and no response till everything index finished.
Note: Maybe can reproduce the problem with SSD easily.
When add a lot of files(maybe 10000+) and enabled everything

What do you expect in such a case ?saqwed wrote:Reproduce steps:

Everything updates its index in the background and can't access its database while this is running. So TC will hang in the SDK API to Everything.
Nothing special and no problem on a normal hardware with enough speed and memory. If you don't like it disable the Everything option while you are doing such mass updates.

You can uncheck "Everything" if this is a problem.

[mod]saqwed,
I don't see where the bug is. You instructed TC to use Everything which you know takes a while to update its database. This behavior is completely expected.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I would expect some kind of activity indicator which let the user know that something is going on. The search window should also still be responsive. What do you expect in such a case ?
If available an information what exactly is going on is would be meaningful.
