Question about ini file on updating to newer TC version.

I use Total Commander for years now. I actually still use the old ini file from years ago. I made the changes I want and I thought it is easy to use that file each time I reinstall Windows so I don't have to change the setting each time. But I was thinking if I update Total Commander it never updates the ini files on updates. Is this a bad thing? I don't know if they are adding new fuctions to the ini file.

When new features are added to TC, they work with default settings until you configure them via configuration dialog or INI file, so it OK to keep same INI file.
