Could you provide more details? Bold? Marked files? If you're talking about fonts, they are the same everywhere. There is nothing that becomes bold for marked files.

I still don't know what you're refering to. The font is exactly the same for ALL files, marked or not. The difference is only in the color which you can change if you don't like the default red; see Configuration > Options > Color.

If you mean something different, it may be a good idea to visualize what you mean, i.e. a screenshot. Upload it to a site of your choosing and link to it here; if the forum complains because you are a new user, just remove the http and www from the link.

It looks like the font is bold but it's not. It seems to be because of the font combined with your color selection.
Which font are you using? Although I don't know how you managed to define a background color for marked files, I guess that the effect goes away when you select a different font and/or color.

Yeah, interesting, smoothess together with high contrast really make the same font look differently.

It is just an inverted selection.

First I thought it was a ClearType effect too, but the text in the other columns isn't affected...

@qkdthdrltnf:
What font and OS are you using?

When "Use inverted selection" was selected,
marked file's font is bold.

I use Windows 10, and it tested in total commander 9.0 b8.
and with Consolas font, but other fonts are same.

Well, I've tried it with separate INI and have noticed that TC uses bold font for marked files when mark color is the same as main font color. I think that was made to make selection visible when user sets same colors but it seems that this trick must not be used in case of inverted selection.

You can report this as a bug, and also currently you can use the following workaround: just set slightly different mark color (you have font color 192, 192, 192 -- so you should set mark color to e.g. 191, 192, 192).
