Kindly Add .zipx native creation Option in "ZipPacker&q

Post by *blazerman »

Hello Author..

Can you kindly add the following native to "ZipPacker"

(a)Wud love to request creating archive in .zipx format internally (instead of plugin)

(b)Wud also like to request creating archive .7z archives internally instead of using plugin for .7z

Thanks in advance
Rgds

Plugins are always good as externall call..

Build-in feature have native advantage.. Of calling ZIPX & 7Z from within applications..

That wud make TC less dependent on external plugins.. & more robust in core functionality of .zipx & .7z(this wud be one highlighted feature of TC)

I believe an Internal Function to complex functions in Applications like WORD/EXCEL is builtin
There are external plugins available too..
But with those features of the plugins now Builtin in Office2016 - makes Office less depended on old/archived plugins

Cheers!

I personally prefer the plugin version.
Why?
If there is a bugfix e.g. in 7-zip or even a new feature, I do have it instantly!
Otherwise I have to wait for the next TC release, which can take a while ...

integrating something into app can just add more bugs to it, thus making it less stable.

plugins are good in this case.

I don't use this ZIPX so it is not needed for me at all (and I think most TC users will say so).
