Put same text in File Comments of multiple selected at ones

Post by *NordicAlbino »

Problem:
I can 't find any possibility to put the same text in the 'File Comment' of multiple selected files at ones.
As far as I can see I have to do this action one file after the other.

Question:
Is it possible to provide this feature in a future version of TC?

Thanks in advance!

Use "Files" -> "Change Attributes" -> "More attributes -> Plugin: tc -> Property: comment -> Value: your text

Thanks, PeterMad! It works well. :)
Although a bit cumbersome, I never thought it could this way.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Although a bit cumbersome... Yes, so...
Can we put this command in a button or use a shortcut?

Not closer than using the cm_SetAttrib command in button or shortcut.

You can save the options in that dialog, then load them with F2.

My thanks too!

Still, it could be handy if this could happen in a less complex way: selecting multiple files > cm_EditComment (hotkey), then F2 to commit. ;-)
