Enhance Copy Dialog with "Long name options"

Post by *Cyber »

When I copy folders with many files, the copy process may last for very long, and I want it to be silent.
I am talking about "auto overwrite", "auto delete read only", etc.

Total Commander offers solution for this task: "Advanced options" in Copy Dialog.

All works great, but recently I encountered a message box question, stating "The target name lenght (262) is more than 259 characters!"
And buttons: "Keep name", "Skip", "Keep all", "Skip all", "Abort", "Rename".
And I can't make Total Commander automate this decision.

I suggest adding another feature to Copy Dialog "Advanced options" group.
New drop down list "Long name options".
List items:
1. Ask user
2. Keep all
3. Skip all
4. Auto-rename

I definitely support that. Editing wincmd.ini and adding "LongNameCopy=1" is not always a viable option, and it's not possible to autorename anyway.
