ALT-F7 (Find Files) No Longer Works

Post by *ChuckWhitson »

It just mysteriously stopped working for some reason on multiple machines. Any ideas as to why? I use it all the time. I can select the menu drop down and that works fine.

Hello, ChuckWhitson.

Maybe on all affected machines you have installed the same spoftware, which intercepts the keyboard shortcut <Alt><F7> systemwide so that Total Commander no longer gets it?
You might use Nir Sofer's utility HotKeysList to identify such a piece of software.

Recently on Russian systems right Alt+F7 have stopped working (left Alt+F7 worked) just because dumb MS have converted right Alt to Alt+Ctrl, so removing stupid hotfix helped.
