9.0 RC4 - custom icons for folders not showing

I have custom icons for folder and they showing right in old TC.
Now I can see icon only in tab's name, why custom icons for folders was removed from folders list in left and right panels?

Could it be that

Configuration -> Options... -> Icons:
[X] Show icons for special folder: Normal file system

is unchecked in your configuration?
