I have a camera that broadcasts wirelessly and serves .jpg files stored on its micro sd card.
I can connect my desktop Windows 8.1 machine to the camera over Wifi. Open either IE or Firefox browser, navigate to 192.168.xx.x and view the single directory of my photos under 'index of/'.
I'd like to use TC to transfer and zip files etc, so in TC I use the HTTP button and add 192.168.xx.x:80. Thus far I've only received 'timeout' (server not found) error messages.
Configured Windows Firewall to allow TC private networks, still no love.
What am I missing?
Thanks for reading... suggestions are appreciated.

Total Commander cannot browse a website directory and show it's files.
(If you know the exact filename you can use TC to download it via HTTP)
If you want to browse a website directory, I suggest downloading HTTP browser or the HTTP SmartBrowser plugins for Total Commander here:

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, however, still nothing.
Certain the plugin is installed per instructions: network neighborhood, browser, connect: 192.168.xx.x:80

Removed the plugin reboot (option-plugin-.wfx), edited the configuration file so it was clean (in my case deleted reference to port 80), save config file and fired up TC. The directory structure was visible over the private network.
Much thanks to DarkRuleR for setting me straight.
