It connecting but it still taking a very long tme to get the directory. It downloads it but it stilll up saying its downloading it.

Please try to use another FTP clients for testing (Leech FTP, NetTransport are good ones, or the ftp command on the command line). If you see a different behaviour in TC then complain here. Try to describe your problem just a little more detailed, so we dont have to ask many questions. Many times there is someone here who immediately recognises the situation, and comes up with the solution, so it is useful to write more. And please use only one thread in the forum for one problem.
