Search for duplicates - group indicator missing

When feeding a search for duplicate search result to the file panel there are dashed lines indicating a group of duplicate files. This doesn't always work for me. Sometimes the dashed lines are just missing. So far I couldn't find out what the reason is. Has anyone else the same problem or even knows the reason?

I only loose the lines if I use a special View mode for search results
and have Auto-switch enabled.
With the defaults the grouping lines are always there after feed to listbox.

The dashes are lost when TC sorts the list by a different method. What Horst.Epp writes may be causing such a re-sorting.
