In Configuration Editor, not all 32-bit Plugins are listed. All 64-bit sections in Plugins are empty. In the wincmd.ini I use redirect sections, if interested.

In Button Bar Editor, it would be fine if we get the function to clone a tab.

Configuration Editor works fine for me, maybe your Wincmd.ini has the problem!

TC Changes Viewer suggestion

Post by *Helix751 »

Hi. Just a small change suggestion: A config option to close the app when <Esc> is pressed.

Thanks!

Sergio

It is already exist
1- Open the program INI file "ultra tc editors.ini" with Notepad
2- Add this CloseOnEsc=1 under [Common] section.
3- Restart current running UTC Editor

I have a strange effect unpacking the Rar file with the updated files.
It works fine with WinRAR but if i try it under TC it produces
ultra_tc_editors_630_beta_1.rar: No files to extract

I have the x64 WinRAR 5.50 beta2 installed an configured in TC as
"C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe"
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3374)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1371a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.2, Listary Pro 6.3.0.69

I have packed with WinRar 5.21 x64 Final

I have installed WinRar 5.50 beta 2 x64, no problem unpacking using WinRar or TC!

It seems to be TC problem, try to unpack with TC starts with fresh ini.

Same problem with a fresh TC config and only WinRAR added.
Btw. I open the archive on one side and the target on the other
and then the Copy button.
The internal Unrar has no such problem.

Danish translation for ver. 6.30 can be downloaded at:
http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/ultra_tc_editors_630b1_danish.zip

------------

The new Customize Wincmd.ini seems to work fine, and it actually edits the right .inc file - that is wciconex.inc when wciconex.dll is present and for example wcmicon_win7amd64.inc when I am using wcmicon_win7amd64.dll.

But if I use environmen variables in the dll name it goes wrong: I have these files in my TC dir:

wcmicon_win7%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%.dll
wcmicon_win7amd64.dll
wcmicon_win7amd64.inc
wcmicon_win7x86.dll
wcmicon_win7x86.inc

When running TC x64 and I in TC's "Set default icon library" dialog choose wcmicon_win7%PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%.dll - then TC correctly uses wcmicon_win7amd64.inc - BUT Ultra TC uses wcmicon_win7x86.inc !! When running TC x86, then Ultra TC correctly uses wcmicon_win7x86.inc

------------

I think it could be good to - in stead of showing the hardcoded "Customize Wincmd.inc" in the dialog - then dynamically show the actual used inc. file (for example wciconex.inc or wcmicon_win7amd64.inc).

------------

If the modal dialogs "Customize Wcmd.inc" and "Choose Command" are open I can NOT navigate to Ultra-TC with Alt+Tab (but Win+Tab works) - this is Using Windows 7, haven't tried 8 or 10 yet.

------------

I suggest that the language string:
1236=&Show commands has entry in Wcmicons.inc
is changed to
1236=&Show commands that has an entry in Wcmicons.inc
or
1236=&Show commands with an entry in Wcmicons.inc
or
1236=&Show commands that already has an entry in Wcmicons.inc

Ultra TC Editors are x32 programs, therefore %PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE% always resolved as x86 even if you run from TC x64, i will try to find a solution.

Why you are using different wcmicon_xxx.dll for TC x64 and TC x32?

Icon support is awesome!
Can you add ability to customize icons from "All commands" pane?

For Button Bar editor:
Shouldn't "Appearance" settings be apllied to bar preview?

Also, please check your program icons (may be, how they are assigned to windows) - they are rendered in taskbar from 16x16 size instead larger size and looks ugly.
The same to Alt+Tab icons - possible, you forget to send WM_SETICON with ICON_BIG https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms632643.aspx

Because my menus (see my signature here below) have different content (mostly in the belonging .ini file) in 32bit and 64 bit versions - that is because my menus has items for a lot og Windows programs, that need different launch commands for 32- an 64 bit versions. Also paths for generic folders and virtual folders has to be opened differently in 32- and 674 bit environment.
