Request: disk full message should have a "retry" b

when i copy large amount of files to another disk, and the disk gets full, i just get a message "disk full" with no options.
there is a button needed "retry" or "continue", because when you use the move/copy-Queue function (F6) you loose all the processes.
i think in earlier versions (<6.0) there was this option so i could make some space on the destinaiton drive and continue the copy process then. (i think the message was: "disk full, continue anyway?")

I startet an xcopy process at Dos-console and after that the copy with TC and Yep TC gave me the same message while cmd stopped copy.

i copy to a networkfolder which always says there is enough space, but thats because on the networkdrive (Samba on linux) there are more harddisks linked in with symbolic links, so the space is not full on the main harddrive in that folder.

Confirmed. While copying to network drives it lacks the option to continue.

Confirmed again: TC 5.51 has this option even while copy to net-drives. Guess it is worth a bug report to Christian via email.

Okay, I did it.

But if you find a bug, and checked out it is a bug you shouldn't report it to the forum, though Christian reads it regularly, but send a mail to support@ghisler.com. So he can maintain bug reports much better.

If you want to get the message "Not enough free space on target drive. Continue?" you must simply uncheck the 'use compatbility mode for drive' option in Configuration->options->Copy/delete. That seems to be the solution.

For me it's fine now, and I could only see the connection to the compatibiliy mode.

Christian asked me for the settings in section copy/delete in the configuration of TC. And there I found that (for a not known reason) the network was set to compatibility mode. After unchecking it, there didn't occure the error anymore. So I told Christian and did get the reply today that compatibility mode uses winfunction CopyFileEx() and this function gives back only 'disk full' message. But he will look if he can fix it.

If your error really not depends on compatibility mode I recommend to mail to suport@ghisler.com by yourself.
