Split file

Post by *zeruyo »

Sorry, I've already post this on previous forum by I didn't see if there was a reply so I have to repeat.
I would like to see an option in Split File function to choose if the split should occur at CR/LF for txt files, don't you?

Thanks

Daniel

The split function is meant to reduce the size of big files, e.g. to put them on several CD-R or other removable disks. Therefore it doesn't check any line breaks.

Yes I see. It was a suggestion for a future implementation. Better would be to define one or more character combination to split after or before to create valid files. There are several file types that work in this way.
