verify CRC checksum with different target

Post by *Sheepdog »

Is there a way to verify CRC checksum from sfv files with a different target?

It's the following:
When I copy files to CD-RW it happens sometimes that the data cant be read properly. So I create sfv-files of the folder on HD and burn it to CD. But sometimes I forget to make the sfv files first and they are not on CD.
When I try to check CRC on CD with the created sfv it always only checks the HD and not the CD. Is it possible to make TC check the CD with the sfv created from HD?

Just open the .sfv-file with notepad and put X:\ in front of filenames with X=CD-Drive.

Maybe DVDsig is something for you, too:

That did the trick. And the tool is really great, exactly what I wanted. Thanks.

By the way - a very interesting site.

Indeed, I have mentioned it in the huge "3rd party apps complementing TC" thread a while ago.

I love tiny apps like those, especially EDXOR is an incredible piece of software. :)
