Navigating to a file by pressing it's first character?

Post by *hiccup »

In Windows, when you have a long list of files, you can press a letter to bring you to the first file that matches having that letter as first character.
(and it's refinable by pressing subsequential characters)

Performing the same action in TC doesn't do anything.
Can that be activated somehow?

Thanks again Dalai.

I'm guessing this will be a good time for me to shut up for a while, and digging in some more in all the available features, help files, and the vast amount of existing forum posts.

Type CTRL-S and a letter; only files starting with that letter stay in the window.
