Alt-F2 doesn't work anymore (x64 TC 9.21a)
After upgrading, Alt-F1 still works for the left drive-dropdown, but Alt-F2 only brings the "Files" menu item in focus. I haven't changed any settings in TC in conjunction with the upgrade.
Any ideas?

Re: Alt-F2 doesn't work anymore (x64 TC 9.21a)
Hello, mrwee.
Just checked here on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, Total Commander 9.21.a 64-bit.
Pressing <Alt><F1> makes the drive selection list drop down in the left panel.
Pressing <Alt><F2> makes the drive selection list drop down in the right panel.
So here both keyboard shortcuts behave as designed and as expected.
Try with a clean wincmd.ini file to find out whether your current wincmd.ini holds a setting which causes the reported behaviour.
Best regards,
Karl

Did you update graphics drivers recently? Does Alt+F7 work and does it open the TC search window? If it doesn't, you most probably have GeForce Experience installed which registered several hotkeys on its own system-wide. Either get rid of it or disable these hotkeys in that software.

Re: Alt-F2 doesn't work anymore (x64 TC 9.21a)
Very strange..
Confirmed that running with a fresh wincmd.ini does not help.
Confirmed that the physical key actually works
Confirmed that Alt-F2 works in other apps
I'll keep digging..

norti wrote: ↑2016-09-04, 19:04 UTC It took me one hour testing and several Google searches to find out that Nvidia Ansel locks the shortcut. I'll try to reinstall the driver without it and hope that this solves the problem now.

I hope they will rework it asap to not interfere with other programs.

Thanks, but I don't seem to be running Nvidia Ansel. But this evening Alt-F2 is working as expected without me doing anything different. Very strange..

There were similar problems with packages for other graphic drivers:
* ATi/AMD driver packages. If I remember correctly, in some versions they always catched Alt+Ctrl+C and AltGr+C (used for typing letters in some languages) to run ATi CCC even when shortcut keys was turned off. The only workaround was to run CCC and change the shortcut key.
* Intel drivers catched Alt+Ctrl+L and AltGr+L used for typing other letters…
If you still have problems with unexpected shortcut keys, you can find them with Shortcut Key Explorer (freeware, donationware):

SOLVED! Re: Alt-F2 doesn't work anymore (x64 TC 9.21a)
Found it (or didn't, but it works).
HolgerK was almost right. Nvidia's Geforce Experience have an In-game overlay 'feature' which was enabled (I've never used it though), but had no key-mapping to Alt-F2. When I disable the overlay feature, Alt-F2 works in TC.. Enabling it, disabled Alt-F2. Still there's no relevant key-mapping in Nvidia's program.
I have absolutely no idea why this occurred in conjunction with my 9.21a upgrade as I didn't upgrade the drivers.
Anyhoo, it works again.
Thank you for your suggestions & help!

Re: Alt-F2 doesn't work anymore (x64 TC 9.21a)
@Dalai: Yes, you did . But since Alt-F2 wasn't listed in the shortcut list, I didn't think they were to blame.. But they were!
