Network hang

Post by *silencer »

Hi All,

Sometimes my network neighborhood hangs. This is some problem i'm facing when switching between VPN connections (and corresponding networking rules embedded inside). When I reboot the pc it will work ok again. (and solving this issue is not my main thing here)

Since the network neighborhood is hanging, I haven't got acces to the WFX plugins from there also.
Is there any way to acces the list of wfx plugins without checking the network?

I know I can type cd \\\Plugin / create shortcuts

Kr,

You can disable network neighborhood via the Allowed= option in wincmd.ini. Unter [Configuration], add:
Allowed=ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
to allow only certain drive letters. If you leave out a backslash \, then the network neighborhood will only list the plugins.

Ok, thanks, this could be the workaround. For now i've added some shortcuts on my buttonbar.

And I also found that the exact name of the plugin can be found in the configuration of wfx plugins. (eg. cloudplugin > Cloud)
