And where is your proposal? Why you have created a new topic in discussion forum instead of bumping your old one in suggestions forum?

Re: Where is the counter of found files?
In my experience, when searching for files or folders with a file number of about 1 million entriesmakinero wrote: 2018-12-27, 15:00 UTC Where is the counter of found files While scanning... I submit this proposal a few years ago and still have nothing to offer the new version Total Commander.
Find Files -> Search results
- if one includes "Everything" in the search with TC -
only a very small, i.e. insignificant delay come, until the search result is displayed in TC.
Content Searching
"Warning: content searching is extremely slow. File content is not indexed."
The search result is obtained faster if you perform the search directly in "Everything",
since TC must first format the data in the search results window.
But for me it is questionable whether such an option should be included in TC at all, if for example - as in your case -
the PC with a search in more than 16 million files/folders is already so busy,
that even with a search directly in Everything - according to your information - Everything is only available again after about 1/2 hour.
