And now you want a history editor rather than a history cleaner, too, yeah ?? :) ;)

Hi
now i'm thinking to add new two functions and i need your opinion is they will be useful or not?
Export... to export the current history sections to another Wincmd.ini file or to an empty file (to save a backup)
Import... to import the history sections from another Wincmd.ini file or from saved copy.

and apply these functions to whole sections or for each section indvadual?
or this is exaggeration
(I can guess your answers  )

That would be really great.

What about to save/load more than one section at once? I save three sections in one file andif I load this file these three sections are adopted. That way I could easily create a 'clean' wincmd.ini with a few helpful preferences.

You said:

I want to export more than the current section. e.g current section is Commandline but I want to export 'selection' and 'rename templates' too into one file.

Now I can edit the file and set some useful commandlines as default as
'@echo sheepdog is really sharp'
'format c: /u /s /autotest' (do not try this!!!! It formats your C Harddisk without any confirmation)
etc.

When I want to share a nice TC installation I can import this file with one click and have both cleaned my history and set some useful presets.

Any questions?

kind regards

i said the current history sections means all sections

also i said and apply these functions to whole sections or for each section indvadual? mean you can export/import all sections at once or select the sections you want to export/import
so what i said is exactly what you need
