Nope...right-clicking the plugin name there just toggles it back & forth between black & red text...

I guess you are looking on some strange place, there is no such toggle.
Here a right click on the name VirtualPanel under Network connections (\\Network\*.*)
offers 2 choices, the 2nd is named Properties.
Under Properties you find Parameters / Settings / Commands
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3374)
TC 11.03 x64 / x86
Everything 1.5.0.1371a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.2, Listary Pro 6.3.0.69
QAP 11.6.3.2 x64

Here's a screengrab of the strange place I'm looking, showing the color-toggling I described: <link no longer accessible>

I'm trying the "Temporary Panel" plugin, as suggested by ghisler.

Link removed because author wants to remove the link

Reason: Author reported that he wants to remove the link http://take.ms/SegXF because it's about to expire and registrar is known to repurpose abandoned domains for offensive content.

Don't release the mouse button until right click context menu is shown.

Whoa, VERY nonstandard behavior for a context menu under Windows - yup, that did it.
ghisler(Author) wrote: 2019-06-14, 10:05 UTC Then maybe the plugin "Temporary panel" would help you? But you would have to add files/folders manually yourself.
As far as I can tell, this seems to behave pretty much the same as Windows Libraries: it provides a collection of references to (top-level) objects, but there's no type of synchronized browsing - which is the fundamental behavior I'm trying to do...?

That's mean you are new to Total Commander :)

There is an option to change this, open Configuration dialog, Operation page then select Left mouse button (Windows standard)
