TC 9.50 introduced a new feature "Define view method by file type" which allows to set preferred Lister view methods for certain file types. TC already had closely related options available as parameters NoMediaFileTypes and NoPluginFileTypes that tell TC not to use media and plugins on Lister start for defined extensions.
Since both new and old options define Lister's behavior at start, I suggest to add GUI (e.g. 2 editboxes) for NoMediaFileTypes and NoPluginFileTypes which may appear above or below "Define view method by file type" button placed in Multimedia tab of "Configure Lister" dialog.

Re: Add GUI for NoMediaFileTypes and NoPluginFileTypes
Do they provide anything which cannot be achieved with the new "Define view method by file type"? I think it would confuse most people if I made these also available via settings.

Yes, they let Lister to auto-detect text format (like ANSI or UTF8) so Lister will show it properly.ghisler(Author) wrote: ↑2019-10-21, 15:17 UTC Do they provide anything which cannot be achieved with the new "Define view method by file type"?
