[solved] TC 9.5b1 - Access violation when using a non existing dir in "Search in" field

Post by *petermad »

I accidently typed ev: in the "Search in:" field in the search dialog (i stead of in the "Search for:" field), and after a dialog saying:

Total Commander
---------------------------
Search path not found!
c:\SYSTEM.SAV\ev:
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
I get this in 64bit TC 9.5b1:
---------------------------
Total Commander 9.50b1
---------------------------
Access violation.

It seem to happen whenever the "Searh in" field points to a non existing directory. The bug does not occur in TC 9.22a

Confirmed too - the problem was that TC tried to add the empty search results to the search history (so you can go back to previous search results).
