I can confirm that the sync by content (and Strg-B) with 7Zips works now, even with my f*** AIMP archive...
Many thanks also from me to Christian for the quick fix!

This was already my 2nd issue with TC in the last twenty years, I think I have to change over to Explorer...

This indicates that TC "By content" option with internal 7zip unpacker now works - i doesn't - it still only works with plugins.

It works fine here both with 32-bit and 64-bit TC. Please provide a sample 7z archive where it doesn't work.

It works fine (except with ß12) with plugin mentioned below configured, but still not w/o that (even with ß13)

You can reproduce that with the attached archives (extract AIMP.7z first and perform the comparison with Roaming.7z).
(it fails when no plugin is configured and you're comparing by content a folder with a 7Zip file - see TC ß13 without plugin.png)

I'ver performed some experiments, also with petermad's archives (ß13, 7z plugin deactivated)...

IT FAILS only when you're making the comparison with the (extracted) folder on LEFT side and the 7Zip archive on the right.

7Zip left and folder right works.
7Zip left and 7Zip right works.
folder left and folder right works.
folder left and ZIP right works.


(independent from uppercase/lowercase and with/without subfolders)
