Yet another UI bug

Post by *Csimbi »

TC 6.03, WinXP SP2.

1. press ALT+F7 to search.
2. if there is some old item in the "Find text" combobox, proceed to step 4
3. do some search to make sure that there is something in the history
3a. check the box "Find text"
3b. enter some text
3c. press search
3d. wait until finished
3e. close search window
3f. proceed to step 1.
4. resize the window.
Bug: the disabled text in the "Find text" combobox becomes selected.

Thanks for fixing.

Edit: removed enabled, see comments below.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

The text becomes selected but it is not enabled (or did I misunderstand what yo meant?)

What I mean is: The focus is still in the 'search for' field, while the name is highlighted and the text in 'find text' is highlighted too, and the path in 'search in' is also highlighted.
So if I start typing, I replace the 'search for' string.

"enabled" means the Editbox inside the Combobox seems to become enabled.

2Sheepdog: True, it does not. The selection confused me with colours.
2Lefteous: Right, but it does not. The selection colour made me think so - usually a selected text is enabled. :-)

Editboxes have a property where a selection is shown although the editbox has lost the focus. This property is set on the particular editbox.
