Cannot hide invisible folders in Folder Tree View

Post by *Soom »

I can hide/unhide hidden files and folders in the file list view, but for some reason they are always visible in the Folder Tree view.
I cannot find a way to hide them too...
I am on Windows 10, TC 9.50 beta

Use "Ignore list" - Configuration - Options - Ignore list

I never noticed it before, because I always have hidden/system files/folders shown - but I think it is a misbehaviour that the setting does not work for the tree views - file panel tree, separat tree and Directory tree (Alt+F10) - in the Directory tree even the ignore list is ignored.

That's because you can quickly enable/disable hidden and system files/folders, which would require a complete re-scan of the tree each time. Therefore they are always enabled in the tree.

Maybe TC at least should apply settings for hiding files for trees at start (ignoring their switch during session)?

Sounds like a good idea - just like the ignore list already is used when opening the tree views, but the tree view does not respond to cm_SwitchIgnoreList once it is opened.
