[OT] Good RSS reader recommendations...?

Post by *Hacker »

Hi,
This time I am looking for good RSS readers (aggregators). I am currently using SAGE within Firefox and I wonder what else is around.

Note to icfu: I know there is one in Opera. At least I think there is.

TIA

I love Bloglines (http://www.bloglines.com). The feed list is stored remotely, so that I can hit the same set from home, work, or when traveling. This works very well for my work style.

As for a stand alone application, Feeddemon (http://www.bradsoft.com/feeddemon/index.asp) is probably one of the strongest. I also think that Awasu (http://awasu.com) and SharpReader (http://www.sharpreader.net) are pretty decent as well.

Well, you always do. :) My respect to your experience and knowledge, BTW. On a sidenote, I should slowly ("Ich sollte langsam" (?)) reply to the mail we started somewhen in April (or was it March?) now that I am online at home...

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I'm using FeedDemon. But I'll give those a try too. My main concern is that FeedDemon uses IE browser. I'd rather have mozilla integrated, or a mozilla based RSS browser.

I found Sage for mozilla to be quite usefull. It acts like a sidbar, and shows feeds in the main window.

I thought you haven't answered because you were upset by my let's say "not so kind words" towards the "current situation". ;)

Thx for your compliment, anyway. :)
